I grew up in a house with a walk-up attic.  Oh how we loved playing in that attic, gaining an appreciation for all things old and expanding our imaginations.  My sister and I opened our first antique shop in 2001 and named it Dreaming In The Attic somewhat after a Norman Rockwell plate our mom had hanging on her bedroom wall. We began calling ourselves the Attic Sisters and the name stuck.

Today, I am a former school teacher, retired tearoom owner, avid antiques dealer and loving yet crazy Yiayia (grandma) to 2 rambunctious boys.  Sharing my love of “old stuff” brings me pleasure. I hope you enjoy my reminiscing.
