Thursdays Doors

Last week I shared that I love art nouveau anything.  So this week, I thought I’d share some of those art nouveau doors that sing to my heart.

I do not know what impresses me more; the decoration on these doors or the massive size of their decorative surrounds.

I appreciate the workmanship that went into making these doors but wonder if I could live with giant fish.

Always a sucker for Gothic arches; add some undulating curves and naturalistic vining elements and I’m sold on these doors.

Maybe someday I’ll have the opportunity to travel to Paris to experience these fabulous art nouveau doors first hand.  Until then I must be content to live vicariously through the internet.
